General Information
The stay in the United Kingdom is generally paid by the Lions Clubs of the British Isles, whereas the sponsoring Lions Club of the participant is responsible for travel costs, insurance and reasonable pocket money
The centre fee is £200.00 GB.
No alcohol permitted
Children of non-Lions as well as children of Lions are accepted on equal terms
Travel arrangements
Please book your flight tickets based on these recommendations:
Arrival
Participants taking part in the home stay and youth centre are required to arrive on Friday 1st August 2025.
The UK arrival airport is London Heathrow.
We will arrange to have people to meet you at the airport and assist you getting to your host family.
Some of you will have to take a train from the airport to the Intercity train station close to your host family. We will assist you in getting the correct train ticket, however the train ticket will be at your own cost; expect a cost of between £30 – 60; (35 - 70 EURO) each way.
Departure
Your departure time should be after 09:00 for all participants.
This is to ensure that you have sufficient time to get from the Centre location to the selected airport. Your departure airport might be the same as your arrival airport.
Please note our deadline for the application is 15th of February if you need a visa and 31st of March, for all others.
